Daily notifications

InnerWhisper schedules quote notifications locally on your device. It does not use a Moving Truth notification server.

If notifications are not arriving, open iOS Settings, find InnerWhisper, and confirm that Notifications are allowed. Then check the notification schedule and enabled quote collections inside InnerWhisper Settings. iOS controls final delivery timing and may delay notifications in some Focus or power-saving states.

Favorites and iCloud

Favorite quote identifiers can sync through Apple’s iCloud Key-Value Store when you are signed in to iCloud. Moving Truth does not receive the list.

If a favorite is slow to appear on another device, confirm that both devices use the same Apple Account, have an internet connection, and allow InnerWhisper to use iCloud. Reopen the app on both devices to give iCloud another opportunity to synchronize.

Your added quotes

Quotes you write are encrypted on your device before storage. When iCloud is available, the encrypted file can sync through your personal iCloud Documents container and its encryption key can sync through iCloud Keychain.

If InnerWhisper says that your quotes or key are still syncing, keep the app installed, confirm that iCloud Keychain is enabled, wait a few minutes, and reopen the app. Do not reset encryption or delete the app when it holds the only copy of text you want to keep.

Quote library and optional updates

The core quote library is included with the app and remains available offline. InnerWhisper can also request an optional supplementary quote file over HTTPS. If that request is unavailable, the bundled library continues to work.

If you notice a doubtful attribution or wording, email us with the quote and the source you believe is more accurate. Please do not include any private quote you added yourself unless you deliberately want us to read it.

Privacy and deletion

InnerWhisper has no account, advertising, analytics, or tracking SDK. Your app data remains on your device or in your personal iCloud account through Apple’s systems. Read the full Privacy Policy for the precise storage, sync, network, and deletion boundaries.

Deleting InnerWhisper removes its local app data. Synced data may remain in your personal iCloud account until you remove the app’s stored iCloud data through iOS Settings.

Accessibility support

If VoiceOver, Voice Control, Larger Text, Reduce Motion, contrast, notification access, or another access need is not working gracefully, please tell us which task you were trying to complete. Accessibility problems are product problems.
